概述

Scope of the Report

The global Fabricated Phenolic Foam market size is predicted to grow from US$ 1,007 million in 2025 to US$ 1,472 million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 5.6% from 2026 to 2032.

Fabricated Phenolic Foam refers to phenolic foam insulation materials that have been processed, cut, shaped, laminated, or assembled into finished components for specific industrial or construction applications. Phenolic foam itself is a rigid thermoset polymer foam produced through the polymerization of phenol and formaldehyde resins, expanded using blowing agents to form a closed-cell, lightweight structure with excellent fire resistance, low smoke generation, high thermal insulation performance, and chemical stability. In the supply chain, upstream inputs include phenol, formaldehyde, catalysts, blowing agents, and reinforcing facings (such as aluminum foil, fiberglass tissue, or kraft paper) supplied by petrochemical and materials companies. Midstream manufacturers produce phenolic resin systems and foam boards or blocks, which are then fabricated by specialized processors into duct panels, insulation boards, pipe insulation segments, sandwich panels, and custom industrial components through cutting, machining, lamination, and surface treatment. Downstream demand mainly comes from HVAC ducting systems, building insulation, cold chain logistics, oil & gas facilities, marine insulation, and industrial fire-resistant structures, where fabricated phenolic foam products are valued for their high fire safety, thermal efficiency, and lightweight structural properties. In 2025, global Fabricated Phenolic Foam output was about 350,000 tons with 520,000 tons of capacity, average prices of USD 2,600 – 4,500 per ton, and gross margins around 23%.

Global key Fabricated Phenolic Foam players cover Kingspan Group (Ireland), Asahi Kasei (Japan), LX Hausys (South Korea), Green Foam Insulation Material (China), Hebei Huaou Insulation Materials (China), etc.
