Biaxially oriented PEN (Polyethylene Naphthalate) film is the product obtained after the PEN film undergoes a biaxial stretching process. Biaxial stretching is a technique in which stretching forces are simultaneously or successively applied to a film in the longitudinal direction (Machine Direction, MD) and the transverse direction (perpendicular to the Machine Direction, TD) during the film - manufacturing process. These stretching forces cause the molecular chains of the PEN film to rearrange in two directions, endowing the film with a series of special properties.
