概述

Scope of the Report

The global Plant Metabolomics market size is predicted to grow from US$ 1,373 million in 2025 to US$ 2,270 million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 7.6% from 2026 to 2032.

Plant Metabolomics is an important branch of metabolomics, which is defined as metabolomics with plants as the research object; it studies all small molecule metabolites of plants of different species, different gene types or different ecological types at different growth periods or before and after certain stimulation, conducts qualitative and quantitative analysis, and finds out the laws of metabolic changes. In order to survive in a constantly changing and harsh environment, plants have evolved complex, multicellular structures with different functional organs; these organs contain a variety of cell types, and these different types of cells have transferred metabolic mechanisms to accurately realize their specific functions. The effects of environment, temperature and season are compensated by metabolic changes; due to the stress effects of abiotic (light, ultraviolet rays, water) and biotic (insect pests, parasites and pathogens), plants derive a complex library of metabolic compounds. There are both primary metabolites necessary to maintain plant life activities and growth and development, and secondary metabolites generated by primary metabolites that are closely related to plant disease resistance and stress resistance.

Global key Plant Metabolomics players cover Creative Dynamics Inc (Creative Proteomics), MtoZ-Biolabs Inc., Lifeasible, BGI Genomics, DNA Xperts, etc.
