概述

Scope of the Report

Leveling agent is an additive that can promote the formation of a flat, smooth, and uniform coating film during the drying and film-forming process of coatings. It plays an important role in the paint industry. One is non silicon leveling agent, which is usually composed of organic acids, polyethers, polyesters and other main components. It has low surface tension, good dispersibility and flowability, which can effectively reduce the unevenness and peeling phenomenon of coatings or painted surfaces. This type of leveling agent is suitable for various resin systems, including water-based, solvent based, and powder coatings, and can function in different coating processes. Another type is organic silicon leveling agent. It is a leveling agent mainly composed of organosilicon. Usually suitable for solvent based coating systems such as polyurethane, ketone aldehyde, phenolic, etc., it has good scratch resistance and wear resistance. These two different leveling agents have similarities to some extent, such as improving the leveling performance of coatings, reducing the surface tension of coatings, and minimizing defects such as shrinkage and bubbles in coatings.

Global key Non Silicon Leveling Agent players cover Allnex, A.H.A, Afcona Additives, Arkema, BASF, etc.
