概述

Scope of the Report

The excellent performance and high cost performance of ion exchange and adsorption resins make them the most widely used products among adsorption and separation materials, with huge room for development. According to whether they contain active exchange groups, ion exchange and adsorption resins are divided into ion exchange resins and adsorption resins:

1) Ion exchange resin has exchange groups. In the internal structure of ion exchange resin, part of the resin is cross-linked and polymerized from monomers into an insoluble three-dimensional network skeleton. Its chemical properties are stable and it is also the main component of ion exchange resin. It has high specific surface area and high porosity. Morphology and structural characteristics; the other part is the functional group (active group), which is connected to the polymer skeleton and consists of mobile ions and fixed ions. When the resin comes into contact with the solution, the exchangeable ions in the solution exchange with the counter ions on the ion exchange resin. The selective adsorption of the terminal functional groups inside the adsorbent is used to preferentially adsorb molecules or ions of other substances in the environment, and then use specific The resolving agent is desorbed from the adsorbent surface to achieve separation and enrichment effects.

2) The adsorption resin does not have exchange groups. Adsorption resin is a type of polymer adsorbent without active groups developed on the basis of ion exchange resin. Its adsorption is the result of van der Waals attraction or hydrogen bonding, and its adsorption performance is similar to activated carbon. Resins with different polarities and different pore sizes have different selectivities for different types of compounds, thereby achieving the purpose of separation and purification. The physical and chemical effects formed make it easier for the adsorbed substances to be eluted from the resin, and the resin itself is also easy to regenerate. Therefore, adsorption resin has the advantages of good selectivity, high mechanical strength, convenient regeneration process, and fast adsorption speed.

Global key Ion Exchange and Adsorption Resin players cover DuPont, Purolite, LANXESS, Mitsubishi Chemical, ResinTech, etc.
