概述

Scope of the Report

The global Recycled Aluminum Alloy Ingots market size is predicted to grow from US$ 32,070 million in 2025 to US$ 43,870 million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 4.7% from 2026 to 2032.

In 2024, global recycled aluminum alloy ingots production reached 9.9918 million tons, with an average selling price of US$3,139.43 per ton and a gross profit margin of approximately 5.8%-6.29%. Each company had an annual production capacity of 90,000 tons. According to SteelHome, the domestic production of recycled aluminum alloy ingots from 158 sample companies in China reached 1.951 million tons from January to April 2025, a year-on-year increase of 2.3%; in 2024, production reached 5.9951 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 15.3%; and in 2023, production reached 5.2007 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 5.7%. The domestic recycled aluminum alloy ingots production capacity of the 158 sample companies reached a monthly capacity of 1.2635 million tons in April 2025, with an operating rate of 44.42%. Domestic recycled aluminum alloy ingots production capacity is mainly distributed in Anhui, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Jiangxi, Chongqing, Zhejiang, and Hubei provinces. Recycled aluminum alloy ingots are aluminum alloy ingots produced from scrap aluminum and aluminum-containing waste through processes such as remelting and casting. The production process of cast aluminum alloy ingots mainly includes pretreatment, smelting, and ingot casting. Smelting includes melting, alloying, refining, slag removal, and degassing. Pretreatment: Non-aluminum metals and non-metallic scraps are sorted out, and oil, paint, and moisture are removed to meet smelting requirements. Smelting: Aluminum material is melted into molten aluminum, fed into an alloy furnace, and alloyed with appropriate furnace charge. After thorough melting and slag removal, it is sent to a refining furnace for tempering and refining to produce a molten alloy that meets the requirements. Ingot casting: Molten aluminum alloy is poured into a mold through a casting process, and after cooling and solidification, a cast aluminum alloy ingot is formed.

The price of cast aluminum alloys is influenced by a combination of factors, such as market supply and demand, raw material costs, and industry policies. Among these, the price of scrap aluminum, the largest component of the cost structure of cast aluminum alloys, is the most important factor affecting their price. Currently, China's scrap aluminum supply is mainly domestic, supplemented by imports, with domestic supply accounting for over 80% of the total scrap aluminum supply. According to the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, 8.9 million tons of scrap aluminum were recycled domestically in 2024. Cast aluminum alloys are mainly used in automobiles, new energy vehicles, and motorcycles, with these three sectors accounting for over 70% of total cast aluminum alloy consumption. Cast aluminum alloys account for nearly 80% of the aluminum used in automobiles, demonstrating their wide application; however, current integrated die-casting technology still primarily uses primary aluminum.
