概述

Scope of the Report

A Metal Microchannel Cooler (MMC) is a type of heat exchanger or cooling device that is typically used for electronic components, such as high-power semiconductor devices, microprocessors, or other electronics that generate a significant amount of heat during operation.

As the performance of electronic devices continues to increase, so does the demand for heat dissipation technology. Metal Microchannel Coolers are popular for their excellent thermal performance and high power density handling capabilities. Researchers continue to improve the design of microchannel coolers to increase heat transfer efficiency and reduce fluid dynamic resistance. The shape, size and arrangement of microchannels are constantly being optimised. One trend is to stack multiple microchannels on top of each other to increase the cooling surface area and thus improve cooling efficiency. This design can better cope with the heat dissipation needs of high-power electronic components. Some research has looked at developing new materials to improve the performance of microchannel coolers. For example, materials with superior thermal conductivity are being explored to increase the heat transfer capability of coolers. Metallic microchannel coolers can be used not only for heat dissipation but also for high-temperature applications such as cooling of high-temperature electronics and energy conversion systems. This broadens their field of application. Inspired by biology, researchers have developed a number of biomimetic microchannel coolers to mimic nature"s heat exchange systems. These designs are expected to improve cooling efficiency. Overall, metallic microchannel coolers continue to evolve and improve to meet the needs of the growing market for high-power electronic devices and other high-heat-load applications. Future trends may include more advanced materials, more efficient designs, and a wider range of applications.
