概述

Scope of the Report

The global Diallyl Adipate (DAA) market size is predicted to grow from US$ 7.40 million in 2025 to US$ 10.36 million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 4.8% from 2026 to 2032.

Diallyl adipate (DAA) is a bifunctional unsaturated aliphatic diester prepared by esterification of adipic acid and acrylic alcohol. Its molecular structure contains two active propylene based double bonds, thus it has high reactivity and crosslinking ability. DAA is typically a colorless to pale yellow transparent liquid with low volatility, good heat resistance, weather resistance, and chemical stability. It can be used as a crosslinking agent, modified monomer, and reactive diluent in unsaturated polyester resins, UV curable coatings, adhesives, composite materials, elastomers, and specialty polymers. Compared to single functional acrylate materials, DAA can increase the crosslinking density of polymer network structure, thereby improving the mechanical strength, solvent resistance, and dimensional stability of the material.

The main upstream raw materials include adipic acid, propylene alcohol, catalysts, and polymerization inhibitors.

Downstream applications mainly include unsaturated polyester resins, UV cured coatings, adhesives, pharmaceutical synthesis, composite materials, and specialty polymers, among which unsaturated polyester resins and UV cured materials are the core demand sources.

Raw material costs account for 65%; 10% labor cost; The manufacturing cost accounts for 25%.

Diallyl adipate (DAA) is a niche fine chemical material, and the current market demand is mainly focused on high-performance resin modification, special coatings, and polymer crosslinking. Among them, unsaturated polyester resin is still the largest application direction of DAA. With the tightening of global environmental regulations, traditional high VOC coatings are gradually transitioning towards UV cured coatings, water-based coatings, and high solid content coatings. The demand for functional ester monomers with low volatility and high cross-linking efficiency continues to increase, providing growth momentum for the DAA market. At the same time, the increasing demand for high heat and chemical resistance polymer materials in fields such as new energy vehicles, electronic packaging, and aerospace composite materials has also promoted the application and expansion of DAA in special resin systems.
