概述

Scope of the Report

The global Structural Anchoring Adhesives market size is predicted to grow from US$ 1,125 million in 2025 to US$ 1,685 million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 5.9% from 2026 to 2032.

Structural Anchoring Adhesives are two-component reactive adhesives used for post-installed anchoring, rebar connections and structural fastening in concrete, masonry and other mineral substrates. They are typically formulated with epoxy, vinyl ester, modified acrylate or polyester resin systems, combined with hardeners, fillers, thixotropic agents and functional additives, and are mainly supplied in injectable cartridges, capsule systems and limited bulk packaging for project use. After being injected or inserted into drilled holes, the adhesive works with threaded rods, reinforcing bars or sleeves to transfer load through cured bond strength, mechanical interlock and interface adhesion. Major applications include structural retrofit, post-installed rebar, steel baseplate anchoring, curtain wall supports, rail transit, bridges, tunnels, industrial equipment foundations and infrastructure renovation. Key production regions include Europe, North America, China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, China and India, with European and North American suppliers leading in certified high-performance products and Asian suppliers expanding in general-purpose and cost-competitive engineering applications.

In 2025, global Structural Anchoring Adhesives production reached approximately 128,000 to 146,000 metric tons. The average FOB price was approximately USD 7.8 to 8.9 per kilogram, with lower pricing for general-purpose polyester and modified acrylate products, and higher pricing for epoxy-based, vinyl ester-based, cracked concrete-approved, seismic-approved and high-temperature-resistant formulations.

The Structural Anchoring Adhesives market is primarily driven by renovation of existing buildings, infrastructure maintenance, industrial equipment installation and seismic retrofit demand. As global building and infrastructure assets enter a longer maintenance and upgrading cycle, post-installed anchoring, rebar connections and structural reinforcement are being used more frequently in commercial buildings, public facilities, bridges, tunnels, rail transit, energy facilities and industrial plants. Compared with mechanical anchoring, structural anchoring adhesives offer greater flexibility under small edge distances, dense anchor spacing, irregular substrates, damp holes and high-load conditions, giving engineers and contractors more adaptable fastening solutions. In mature markets such as Europe, North America and Japan, stricter requirements for cracked concrete, seismic resistance, fire performance, durability and long-term creep behavior are also pushing demand from general-purpose products toward high-performance epoxy, vinyl ester and hybrid resin systems.

Key market challenges include construction cycle volatility, raw material costs, certification barriers and installation quality control. Although structural anchoring adhesives are high-value engineering consumables, demand remains linked to real estate activity, public infrastructure spending and industrial capital expenditure. In price-sensitive markets, low-end general-purpose products face intense competition and limited brand premium. At the same time, final anchoring performance depends not only on the adhesive formulation, but also on drilling diameter, hole cleaning, substrate condition, curing temperature, embedment depth and installer workmanship. As a result, the premium market increasingly depends on approvals, technical documentation, design software and project engineering support. Looking ahead, downstream demand is expected to concentrate further in infrastructure rehabilitation, urban renewal, industrial facility reinforcement, rail and tunnel works and seismic safety applications, benefiting brand manufacturers with certified product portfolios, regional supply capabilities and strong engineering service networks.
