概述

Scope of the Report

The global Liquid Glass market size is predicted to grow from US$ 2,581 million in 2025 to US$ 4,121 million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 7.0% from 2026 to 2032.

Liquid Glass generally refers to a family of liquid-applied silica-based or nano-ceramic coating materials that form an ultra-thin, transparent, hard, and chemically resistant glass-like protective layer after curing. Depending on the application, liquid glass may consist of silicon dioxide (SiO₂) nanoparticles, polysilazanes, siloxane compounds, sodium silicate solutions, or hybrid ceramic-polymer formulations. It is widely used for surface protection, waterproofing, anti-corrosion coatings, scratch resistance, optical coatings, electronics protection, automotive paint protection, construction materials, textiles, and industrial equipment. The supply chain begins upstream with raw materials such as silica sand, silicon metal, sodium silicate, silanes, silicones, polysilazanes, solvents, catalysts, and specialty additives supplied by chemical and materials manufacturers. Midstream producers synthesize nano-silica dispersions, ceramic coating formulations, liquid glass coatings, and protective treatment products through chemical processing, formulation, and packaging. Downstream customers include automotive manufacturers and detailing companies, electronics manufacturers, construction and building material companies, aerospace firms, marine equipment suppliers, textile producers, healthcare facilities, and consumer protection product brands that apply or incorporate liquid glass coatings to enhance durability, cleanliness, weather resistance, and surface performance. In 2025, global Liquid Glass output was about 2.2 million tons with 2.6 million tons of capacity, average prices of USD 1,000–3,000 per ton, and gross margins around 30%.

Global key Liquid Glass players cover PQ Corp. (USA), Nanovere (USA), Gtechniq (UK), Qemetica (Poland), Silmaco (Belgium), etc.
