概述

Scope of the Report

Algae bioreactors are used to grow microalgae or macroalgae. Algae can be used for biomass production (e.g. seaweed incubators), wastewater treatment, CO2 fixation or aquarium/pond filtration in the form of algae scrubbers. Algae bioreactor designs vary widely and fall into two broad categories: open reactors and closed reactors. Open reactors are exposed to the atmosphere, while closed reactors (often called photobioreactors) are isolated from the atmosphere to varying degrees.

Global key Algae Photobioreactor players cover Fraunhofer IZI, IKA, Beckman, Satake, Industrial Plankton Inc, etc.
