Scope of the Report

The soft terminal multilayer ceramic capacitor is also known as a high-flexibility multilayer ceramic dielectric capacitor or a low-ESR (Equivalent Series Resistance) multilayer ceramic dielectric capacitor. In conventional MLCC (Multilayer Ceramic Capacitor) products, the terminal electrodes have a Cu base layer plated with Ni and Sn, whereas the soft-terminated MLCC is an MLCC where a conductive resin layer is placed between the Cu and Ni plating layers. The added resin layer can absorb the stress caused by the expansion or contraction of the solder joints due to thermal shock or substrate bending stress, preventing the capacitor components from cracking. This provides the MLCC with enhanced resistance to mechanical stress cracking and improves connection reliability.

Global key Soft Terminal Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors players cover Sumsung Electro-Mechanics, TDK Corporation, KYOCERA AVX Components Corporation., Würth Elektronik eiSos GmbH & Co. KG, Taiyo Yuden, etc.
