개요
Scope of the Report
The global High-Speed Interconnect ICs market size is predicted to grow from US$ 4,164 million in 2025 to US$ 22,224 million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 25.2% from 2026 to 2032.
High-speed interconnect ICs are semiconductor devices designed to establish high-bandwidth, low-latency and highly reliable data connections among CPUs, GPUs, AI accelerators, memory devices, network interface controllers, storage controllers, switches and other high-speed peripherals in data centers, AI servers, high-performance computing systems and storage infrastructure. These ICs operate primarily across high-speed serial links based on PCI Express, Compute Express Link, high-speed Ethernet and emerging accelerator interconnect architectures. They incorporate technologies such as high-speed SerDes, clock and data recovery, feed-forward equalization, decision-feedback equalization, digital signal processing, signal retiming, linear signal conditioning, protocol-aware link management, port switching, rate conversion, telemetry and memory-coherency control to compensate for insertion loss, jitter, crosstalk and reflections introduced by printed circuit boards, backplanes, connectors and copper cables.
The growth logic of the high-speed interconnect IC market is shifting from simple server shipment expansion toward a simultaneous increase in link count, per-lane data rate, accelerator density and memory-connectivity complexity. Conventional servers generally rely on a limited number of PCIe links connecting CPUs, memory, storage devices and network adapters. AI servers, by contrast, require substantially more high-bandwidth connections among CPUs, GPUs or other XPUs, NICs, NVMe devices, fabric switches and memory expansion resources. This increases both the number and the value of retimers, switches, memory controllers and signal-conditioning ICs deployed in each system.
From a supply perspective, Broadcom, Marvell and Microchip benefit from established positions in PCIe switching, storage connectivity, networking and signal-integrity products, allowing them to provide broad interconnect portfolios to hyperscale data-center and server customers. Specialized suppliers such as Astera Labs and Credo compete through advanced SerDes, DSP architectures, firmware, telemetry, interoperability validation and close platform-level cooperation with CPU, GPU and system vendors. Consolidation is becoming an increasingly important competitive mechanism. Marvell completed its acquisition of XConn Technologies in February 2026, adding advanced PCIe and CXL switching silicon to its portfolio and strengthening its scale-up switching capabilities. Qualcomm completed its acquisition of Alphawave Semi in December 2025, obtaining high-speed wired-connectivity IP, chiplet and connectivity-silicon capabilities to support its expansion into data-center markets.

Research Methodology
All MarketResearchReports.com strategic research reports follow a rigorous, multi-stage methodology combining AI-assisted data synthesis with expert analyst validation.
Systematic collection from 500+ verified sources including SEC filings, industry databases (Bloomberg, Statista, OECD), regulatory filings, trade publications, patent databases, and company annual reports. AI-assisted extraction identifies relevant data points across 10,000+ documents per report.
Dual-validation approach: bottom-up sizing aggregates segment-level production, consumption, and trade data; top-down sizing cross-validates against macroeconomic indicators and total addressable market estimates. Discrepancies >5% trigger analyst review.
Company profiles built from public financial disclosures, product launches, M&A activity, job postings (as capability proxies), and supply chain mapping. Market share estimates triangulated across revenue, capacity, and shipment data.
CAGR projections use time-series regression on 5-10 years of historical data, adjusted for identified demand drivers (technology adoption curves, regulatory catalysts, demographic shifts) and demand inhibitors (cost barriers, substitution risk). Scenario modeling covers base, optimistic, and conservative cases.
All quantitative outputs reviewed by a domain-specialist analyst before publication. Data triangulation requires minimum 3 independent sources for every key figure. Reports undergo a structured peer review against our 47-point quality checklist covering methodology, data citations, logical consistency, and formatting standards.
On-demand reports are generated at time of purchase, incorporating the most recent available data. Static reports are republished when underlying market conditions shift by >10% from baseline assumptions. Purchasers receive update notifications for 12 months.
