Overview

Scope of the Report

Anti-Surge Control Valves, which detect when the compression phase of the process is approaching a surge and subsequently take action to reverse the movement of the operating point towards the surge line. This reduces the boost chamber pressure and increases the flow through the compressor, thus achieving stable operating conditions. This is usually achieved by opening the control valve in the circulation line and returning the discharge gas to the compressor inlet via the suction cooler. The resulting increase in compressor inlet volume flow moves the operating point away from the surge.

Global key Anti-Surge Control Valve players cover Emerson, Shipham Valves, Baker Hughes, CCC LLC, Compressor Controls Corporation, etc.
