Scope of the Report

The global Automotive Pressure and Temperature Sensor market size is predicted to grow from US$ 322 million in 2025 to US$ 435 million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 4.5% from 2026 to 2032.

In 2025, global production of Automotive Pressure and Temperature Sensor reached 62.42 million units, with an average global market price of USD 5.27 per unit. Total production capacity was about 85 million units, and the industry’s average gross margin was 31.2%.

The main upstream raw materials include semiconductor materials, metal materials, and plastic and polymer materials. Key upstream suppliers include Shin-Etsu, TI, Melexis, Murata, and KYOCERA.

Downstream customers include GM, Volkswagen, Honda, BMW, Toyota, BYD, Nissan, and Ford.

An Automotive Pressure and Temperature Sensor is a vehicle-mounted sensor that integrates pressure and temperature measurement functions into a single device. It is used to simultaneously measure pressure and temperature at the same sensing point and transmit the data to the engine control unit (ECU) or the vehicle control system. Its core feature is “multi-parameter integration,” enabling the monitoring of two key physical quantities at a single installation location, thereby reducing the number of components, simplifying system layout, and improving system response efficiency.

In automotive applications, this type of sensor is widely used in engine intake systems, turbocharging systems, air conditioning systems, as well as fuel systems and new energy vehicle thermal management systems. For example, in intake manifolds or boost pipelines, pressure is used to determine intake load and boost level, while temperature is used to correct air density and optimize fuel injection strategies. In air conditioning systems, pressure and temperature data are used to assess refrigerant conditions and protect the compressor. In new energy vehicle thermal management systems, these sensors are used to monitor the operating status of cooling circuits, ensuring that the battery and electric drive systems remain within a safe temperature range.

Global key Automotive Pressure and Temperature Sensor players cover Valeo, Bosch, Sensata Technologies, DENSO, Amphenol, etc.
