Overview

Scope of the Report

Dental surgical tissue matrix is a biomaterial used for oral and maxillofacial soft tissue regeneration, which is usually made of human or animal tissue through multiple processes such as processing, treatment, and sterilization. STM has biological properties and tissue structure similar to autologous tissue, and can be used to repair oral and maxillofacial soft tissue defects, such as gingival defects, mucosal defects, and groove bone soft tissue defects. Surgical tissue matrix can promote self-tissue regeneration, and has the advantages of reducing postoperative pain and postoperative bleeding. Compared with traditional oral soft tissue repair materials, STM has better biocompatibility and formability, and can be cut into different shapes according to needs during surgery for convenient application.
