Overview

Scope of the Report

The global Molybdenum-Based Ternary Alloys market size is predicted to grow from US$ 272 million in 2025 to US$ 533 million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 10.2% from 2026 to 2032.

Molybdenum-based ternary alloys refer to ternary alloy materials formed by using molybdenum (Mo) as the base element and adding two other main alloying elements, such as molybdenum-vanadium-aluminum, molybdenum-aluminum-chromium, molybdenum-titanium-zirconium, molybdenum-rhenium-tungsten, molybdenum-copper-nickel, and molybdenum-chromium-silicon systems. Compared to molybdenum-based binary alloys, ternary alloys can further improve the material's high-temperature strength, creep resistance, oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance, thermal and electrical conductivity, or processing toughness through the synergistic effect of multiple elements, making them more suitable for complex high-temperature, highly corrosive, vacuum, or high-load environments. These alloys are commonly used in aerospace, nuclear industry, semiconductor equipment, vacuum furnaces, high-temperature structural components, electronic packaging, thermal management materials, glass melting electrodes, and special equipment, belonging to an important category of high-performance refractory metal alloy materials. Sales in 2025 were approximately 5,500 tons.

Global key Molybdenum-Based Ternary Alloys players cover AMG, BaoTi Group, Kymera International, Jinzhou Aohan Metal, Chengde Tianda Vanadium Industry, etc.
