Overview

Scope of the Report

The global NC Protein Transfer Membrane market size is predicted to grow from US$ 96 million in 2025 to US$ 163 million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 8.0% from 2026 to 2032.

An NC Protein Transfer Membrane is a porous, high-purity nitrocellulose matrix designed specifically to immobilize proteins separated by gel electrophoresis through a process called electroblotting.

In practical terms, it acts as a "protein capture substrate." After proteins are separated by size in a polyacrylamide gel, they are transferred ("blotted") onto this membrane. The membrane binds the proteins tightly via hydrophobic interactions (and possibly electrostatic forces), preserving the spatial separation achieved in the gel. This immobilization allows the proteins to be probed with antibodies for detection and analysis without being washed away.

Global key NC Protein Transfer Membrane players cover Merck, Danaher (Abcam), G-Biosciences, Thermo Fisher Scientific, GVS, etc.
