Overview

Scope of the Report

The global PBT-ASA Alloy market size is predicted to grow from US$ million in 2025 to US$ million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of %from 2026 to 2032.

PBT plastic refers to a type of plastic composed of polybutylene terephthalate as the main body, polybutylene terephthalate (Polybutylene terephthalate), also known as polytetramethylene terephthalate. Abbreviated as PBT. It is a condensation polymer of terephthalic acid and 1,4-butanediol, and ASA is a copolymer of styrene, acrylonitrile and acrylic rubber. Technically, ASA not only maintains the main characteristics of ABS, but also combines the advantages of acrylic weather resistance, so that the application of the product can be extended to outdoor use. ASA is divided into: general grade, extrusion grade and heat-resistant grade. The combination of the two means that PBT/ASA alloy is a class of engineering plastics with excellent performance, which maintains the good processing fluidity, heat resistance, high cold resistance, and excellent chemical resistance of PBT, and improves the impact toughness and dimensional stability of PBT. sex. After PBT/ASA is reinforced by glass fiber, its dimensional stability, impact performance and warpage are obviously improved.

Global key PBT-ASA Alloy players cover BASF, Akay Plastik, Avient, Celanese, LANXESS, etc.
