Overview

Scope of the Report

The global Powder Glue market size is predicted to grow from US$ 7,840 million in 2025 to US$ 10,922 million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 4.9% from 2026 to 2032.

Powder Glue is a solid adhesive material supplied in powder form that becomes active after mixing with water, solvents, heat, or other additives, depending on the formulation. It is widely used in construction materials (tile adhesives, wall putty, insulation systems), woodworking, paper and packaging, textiles, foundry applications, and specialty industrial bonding. Common chemistries include redispersible polymer powders (RDP), polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)-based powders, starch-based adhesives, dextrin adhesives, protein-based adhesives, epoxy powder adhesives, and polyurethane powder adhesives. The supply chain begins with upstream raw materials such as petrochemical-derived monomers (vinyl acetate, ethylene, acrylics), natural starches (corn, potato, tapioca), cellulose derivatives, resins, curing agents, fillers (calcium carbonate, silica), and functional additives. Midstream manufacturers polymerize, blend, spray-dry, granulate, and package the adhesive powders into standardized industrial products. Downstream distributors and formulators supply these powders to construction material producers, furniture manufacturers, packaging converters, paper processors, textile companies, foundries, and various industrial users, where the powder adhesive is mixed and applied to create durable bonding, sealing, coating, or reinforcement systems. In 2025, global Powder Glue output was about 6 million tons with 7 million tons of capacity, average prices of USD 1,000–3,000 per ton, and gross margins around 26%.

Global key Powder Glue players cover Wacker Chemie (Germany), BASF (Germany), Dow (USA), Kuraray (Japan), Vinavil (Italy), etc.
