Overview
Scope of the Report
The global Recycling Asphalt And Concrete market size is predicted to grow from US$ 13,990 million in 2025 to US$ 20,729 million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 5.8% from 2026 to 2032.
Recycling Asphalt And Concrete refers to the collection, crushing, screening, grading, processing, and reuse of reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) and recycled concrete aggregate (RCA). Main outputs include recycled asphalt for hot-mix/cold-mix asphalt, road base, subbase, fill material, drainage layers, recycled aggregate for concrete, and construction backfill. RAP is removed asphalt pavement containing asphalt binder and aggregates; when properly crushed and screened, it becomes a reusable high-value road material.
North America is one of the most mature markets, especially for asphalt recycling. The U.S. asphalt industry has very high RAP reuse rates. NAPA/FHWA survey data show that more than 99% of reclaimed asphalt pavement is put back to use.
Europe is also highly developed because of circular economy policy, landfill restrictions, and strong construction-material recycling requirements. The European Commission states that construction and demolition waste accounts for more than one-third of all waste generated in the EU, and the EU policy framework has long promoted high recovery and recycling targets for C&D waste.
Asia-Pacific is the fastest-growing region. China, India, Japan, South Korea, Australia, and Southeast Asia are expanding C&D waste recycling capacity because of urban redevelopment, road reconstruction, landfill pressure, natural aggregate shortages, and infrastructure investment. Japan and Australia are relatively mature, while China, India, and Southeast Asia still have strong growth potential as formal recycling systems replace informal dumping and low-value backfilling.
Latin America, Middle East, and Africa remain smaller but growing markets. Demand is concentrated in road construction, urban demolition, government infrastructure projects, and large city waste-management programs. Growth is limited by weak sorting systems, lower enforcement, limited certified recycled-aggregate standards, and competition from low-cost virgin aggregate.
