Overview

Scope of the Report

Transconjunctival sutureless vitrectomy (TSV) is a surgical method that performs vitrectomy through a conjunctival incision and does not require sutures after surgery. It uses minimally invasive technology to precisely cut the vitreous while preserving the integrity of the eyeball, in order to achieve the purpose of treating diseases such as the vitreous, retina and macula. The surgery is performed through a conjunctival incision, avoiding the step of cutting the eyeball wall required in traditional surgery, thereby reducing surgical trauma and postoperative recovery time. High-precision surgical instruments and equipment are used to cut the cloudy vitreous, restore the transparent refractive medium, and promote retinal reattachment. The incision does not need to be sutured after surgery, and recovery relies on the natural healing ability of the conjunctiva, further reducing surgical risks and complications.
