Scope of the Report

The welding type IGBT device is a composite fully controlled voltage-driven power semiconductor device composed of a bipolar transistor (BJT) and an insulated gate field effect transistor (MOS). The welding type refers to the IGBT device that uses welding technology during the packaging process. The IGBT chip, freewheeling diode chip (FWD), heat dissipation substrate, DBC (Direct Bonding Copper) substrate and other components are connected together through welding to form a modular semiconductor product. IGBT combines the advantages of BJT and MOSFET, such as low driving power and low saturation voltage drop, which makes it highly efficient in power conversion and transmission. IGBT has the characteristic of self-shutdown, that is, the device can automatically shut down when there is no control signal, which helps to reduce energy consumption and improve system safety. The welding type IGBT device uses a fine welding process during the packaging process to ensure a stable connection between the components, while reducing welding marks and oxide films, making the welding surface cleaner and smoother.

The technical level of welding IGBT devices is constantly improving, including the development of integration, intelligence and high efficiency. Integration integrates multiple IGBT devices in one module to improve power density and reduce volume; intelligence integrates sensors, control circuits and communication interfaces to achieve remote monitoring and intelligent control; high efficiency, with the advancement of power electronics technology, continuously improves the switching frequency and conversion efficiency of IGBT. The continuous expansion of the new energy vehicle market, especially the popularity of electric vehicles and hybrid vehicles, has significantly increased the demand for IGBT as a core component of motor drive control systems. As a key component, the market demand for welding IGBT devices has also increased accordingly. In addition, the advancement of smart grid construction and the growth of the renewable energy market have also provided a broad market space for welding IGBT devices. In summary, the welding IGBT device market is currently in a rapid development stage. In the future, the welding IGBT device market will show a broader development prospect.
