Overview

Scope of the Report

The global Coaxial Socket market size is predicted to grow from US$ million in 2025 to US$ million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of %from 2026 to 2032.

Coaxial sockets are a common cable connection interface commonly used for audio, video, and data transmission. Its design is based on coaxial cable technology, where data or signals are transmitted through two concentric conductors wrapped in an insulating material and shielding layer. A coaxial socket usually consists of two main parts: the female head (socket): usually an interface fixed to a device or wall. It has a central needle shaped pin (inner conductor) and a metal ring (outer conductor) surrounding it. These two conductors are separated by an insulation layer to prevent signal interference and loss. Male connector (plug): It is connected to one end of a cable and used to plug into a coaxial socket. The male head also has a central needle shaped pin and a metal sleeve surrounding the outside. Coaxial sockets are widely used in audio and video equipment, such as televisions, sound systems, surveillance cameras, etc. It is also used for some data communication standards, such as early Ethernet (10BASE2 and 10BASE5). Although coaxial sockets were very common in the past, with the development of digital technology, many new digital interfaces (such as HDMI, USB, fiber optic, etc.) have gradually replaced coaxial sockets in the field of high-definition video and audio transmission. However, in certain specific applications, coaxial sockets are still widely used.

Global key Coaxial Socket players cover Yokowo, TE Connectivity, Amphenol Corporation, Molex, Hirose Electric Co., Ltd., etc.
