Scope of the Report
The global Vertical Launch Connectors market size is predicted to grow from US$ 260 million in 2025 to US$ 373 million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 5.4% from 2026 to 2032.
Vertical launch connectors are RF connectors that are used to establish a seamless connection between a printed circuit board (PCB) and an RF component. Unlike traditional RF connectors, which are mounted horizontally, vertical launch connectors are designed to be mounted perpendicular to the PCB, allowing for direct signal routing. By eliminating the need for a transition trace, these connectors minimize signal distortion and loss, resulting in improved signal integrity and higher performance.Vertical launch connectors have a connector body that is typically made of durable and lightweight materials such as metal or high-grade plastic. Like all RF connectors, their contact pins are usually made of conductive materials such as brass or beryllium copper, which offer good electrical conductivity. The pins are precision-engineered to ensure proper alignment and impedance matching with the corresponding pads on the PCB. Vertical launch connectors also have an insulator positioned between the contact pins to electrically isolate them from each other and from the connector body. The insulator material is selected based on its dielectric properties to minimize signal loss and ensure reliable performance. Common insulator materials include PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) or other high-performance plastics.
Global key Vertical Launch Connectors players cover Southwest Microwave, Rosenberger, Withwave, SV Microwave, Qualwave, etc.
